A hairstyle for running out the door !!!!!!!

Soft, voluminous, tousled hair that screams 60s !!! if ever there was a sexier style, I know it not. It’s no secret to any fashionising.com reader that I have a personal love of this particular style, and so it’s without further commentary that I draw your attention to this editorial featuring Linsday Lullman. Not just perfect picture inspiration, but with useful styling notes as well, if achieving Bardot hair is your eternal quest you should definitely view the full shoot after the jump.


Granted, there’s nothing fancy about it – no complex up ‘dos or out-there hair accessories to speak of. But it’s long. It’s red. It has a sweeping peek-a-boo fringe revealing her sweetly freckled nose. And there’s a few little waves at the end that save it from looking too un-done or flat, gently propelling it back into the 1960s.
It’s the kind of style that you can do in 5 minutes flat, but that still looks amazing.

After some contemplation I just last embarked on an all-out hair colour metamorphosis (remember that mantra – just change it?) and I’m still getting used to my new red locks.
